Health Office Information

As the cold and flu season continues, we would like to emphasize the importance of keeping your child home if they are showing symptoms of illness. This simple action helps protect the health of our entire school community.

Please keep your child home if they have:
• Fever
• Diarrhea or vomiting
• Severe cough or congestion
• Sore throat with significant discomfort
• Uncontrolled runny nose
• Headache accompanied by other symptoms
• Significant fatigue or weakness

For more details, please refer to the link below for the LACDPH Symptom Guidance for Schools, which will help determine when your child can safely return to school. These same guidelines are used by our staff to send children home during the school day if needed.
